At SHARP, housing is more than a roof over someone’s head—it’s the foundation for rebuilding lives.
We believe that harm reduction is about preserving dignity, respecting choices, and empowering individuals to make safer decisions.

Referrals to The SHARP Foundation’s housing programs are managed through SORCe. If you or someone you know is looking for housing support, please connect with them directly for intake and referral services.
SORCe (Safe Communities Opportunity & Resource Centre) is a multi-agency collaborative that connects people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, to programs and services that can help to address the barriers to stable housing.
We meet people where they are, providing nonjudgmental, practical tools to reduce harm and save lives. We believe harm reduction is about honoring dignity, respecting choices, and empowering individuals to make safer, more informed decisions.

Lived experience holds great power. Through our Peer Training and Support Program, we empower individuals with firsthand experience of substance use to step into roles as leaders and mentors within the community. This program not only cultivates a sense of purpose and belonging but also offers transformative support to those in need.
Peers provide:
Sharing knowledge about substance use risks, overdose prevention, and recovery pathways.
Offering guidance and empathy to others on their journey to stability and recovery.
Strengthening trust and belonging within marginalized groups.
Health is at the heart of everything we do. SHARP offers wraparound services to address physical, mental, and social health challenges. Our goal is to ensure every individual receives the care and support they need to move forward with dignity and confidence.
Case management and connection to medical care.
Mental health counseling and substance use recovery support.
Addressing social determinants of health, including food security and income stability.
Every bracelet is uniquely handcrafted using a variety of materials, colors, and styles—just like the SHARP residents who create them.
For too long, society has overlooked the talents, dreams, and creativity of those who have experienced homelessness. We believe in their contributions. Their artistry. Their worth.
