Beswick House
  • Established in 1993
  • Provides 24-hour long-term and palliative support for up to ten individuals
  • Is a clean, well maintained home-like environment
  • Is wheelchair accessible
  • Residents pay a percentage of their income to support the costs of rent, groceries and utilities.

Beswick House's target population includes individuals who:

  • May require support to stabilize medication regimen
  • May require long-term health care
  • May require HIV palliative or "end of life" care
  • Are economically disadvantaged (i.e., dependent on social services for income)
  • Do not meet admission criteria for long-term or hospice care
  • Often are transitioned from acute care hospital beds
  • Often possess dual diagnoses such as neurological disease as well as addiction issues, hepatitis, or / and mental health issues.
