Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the legal authority for The SHARP Foundation. The Board was considered a working board up to the year 2000 when an Executive Director was hired. Since then the Board has adopted a governance model. As a member of the Board, a Director acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective governance of the organization.
Board Members are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. Board Members serve a two-year term, unless appointed on the board to fulfill an existing term. Directors may be released at the end of the elected term, by resigning or according to The SHARP Foundation bylaws. If you would like to join our board or one of its committees:

Staff
Our residents receive compassionate individualized attention from our care giving staff and volunteers as well as our community service partners. Our staff are caring and demonstrate a genuine concern for our clients.
The ability to learn and adapt to the increasingly complex challenges in care and support of our residents is demonstrated daily by our team.
Our staff includes an Executive Director, an Office & Volunteer Coordinator, a Communications Assistant, a Case Manager, a Senior Care Giver and Personal Care Attendants. Contact us if you are interested in joining our caregiving team.
