Strategic Plan

This has been a fast paced year of review and reflection.

With the help of staff, residents, friends, and partners we have spent the past several months taking a close look at who we are as a Foundation, and how we need to improve to continue meeting the needs of our residents and serve Calgary's HIV/AIDS community. Individuals from over 20 different organizations gave their time at focus and discussion groups and personal interviews to share their ideas.

Using our stakeholders' ideas, we have created a plan of action. The Foundation will:

  • Maintain and build a personalized continuum of care including housing, healthcare and support for those individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS
  • Provide a nurturing environment attract and retain highly skilled and compassionate people to deliver and support our clients, programs and services
  • Develop and nurture its strategic partnerships to maintain and enhance the quality of life of all persons living with HIV/AIDS
  • Our community partners include: Health and wellness support, social services support and housing support
  • Communicate the excellence of its programs and services so they are clearly recognized by our Stakeholders across Canada
  • Enhance a sound financial position by increasing our revenue sources and maintaining fiscal responsibility
  • Assess and align its strategic directions to best meet the current and future needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and family/friends.

Over 60 individuals participated in the 2004 needs assessment and strategic planning process - Thank you!
